X-Stool metal

The stool is one of the oldest forms of seating known to humankind—simple, functional, and timeless. From ancient civilizations to modern design movements, it has been reimagined countless times while always staying true to its essence.

The X-Stool continues this tradition, drawing inspiration from three iconic predecessors:

The Curule Stool (5th century BCE), A Roman symbol of power and status.

Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s Stool (1830), A refined take on classical furniture.

The B8 Stool by Marcel Breuer for Thonet (1930), A modernist masterpiece in tubular steel.

Each of these designs reflects the era they were created in, and the X-Stool is my own interpretation for today’s world—where minimalism meets versatility.

But the X-Stool is more than just a seat.

Its unique dual-purpose design allows it to function

not only as a stool but also as a book holder,

keeping an open book in place—perfect for readers, designers, and those who appreciate thoughtful, multifunctional furniture.

A Modern Classic for Every Space

With its clean lines and clever design, the X-Stool fits seamlessly into any space—whether in a home, studio, or creative workspace. It’s a piece of furniture that respects history while embracing modern needs.

Are you ready to bring this unique piece into your space?
